Transport planner in Ermelo
No day is the same as a transport planner. While drivers are on the road, keep a close eye on the planning, make sure you keep track of it where necessary and ensure that everything continues. Don't you see problems but solutions? Then this job might be perfect for you!
About the function
- Planning daily real estate transports.
- Maintaining contact with drivers.
- Coordinate transport orders with customers.
- Resolve scheduling disruptions.
- Monitor the quality of planning.
- Thinking about process improvements.
You will end up in a planners' department of three colleagues. Together with one colleague you take care of the daily transport planning and contact with customers and drivers. The third colleague is responsible for the packaging flow.
In addition, you will work an on-call service for international planning once every two weeks. During this week you can be reached by telephone outside working hours for emergencies. Because the drivers have a lot of experience, you would only call if this is really necessary.

You will be working at a family business within the transport and logistics sector that has been active in national and international freight transport for decades. Every day, hundreds of colleagues ensure that goods reach their destination safely and on time.
You work in the transport department with a compact team of three planners from a modern office. The lines are short, colleagues help each other where necessary and you will have a lot of space to make decisions independently. New colleagues are extensively trained by experienced planners, so that you quickly become familiar with the working methods, customers and routes.
Within the organization, work is carried out according to the collective labor agreement for Professional Freight Transport. A lot of attention is paid to sustainable employability, health and employee development.
What we ask
- You have completed MBO 4 or HBO training, preferably towards logistics.
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a general cargo transport planner.
- You have a good command of the Dutch, German and English languages. French is an advantage.
- You have experience with planning software and Excel.
- You live within about 30 kilometers of Ermelo.
What we offer
- A full-time position of 40 hours per week.
- A gross monthly salary between € 3,150 and € 4,580 (obv 40 hours).
