We recently visited a forklift course for mountain workers at JobTrans, where they could obtain their forklift certificate through us. This course enables them to work with confidence on new challenges. We were pleased to see that participants received a warm welcome and that a great deal of attention was paid to their individual needs. The atmosphere was relaxed, with room for a joke to relieve (any) stress. The morning began with the theory, which went so smoothly that they could quickly proceed to the practical part, where several tests were administered. The best news: all candidates successfully completed the course in one go!

What do you learn during a forklift course?

The tests consisted of a mix of challenging puzzles and practical situations in which participants could demonstrate their skills. Think of picking up, moving and neatly dropping off loads and even navigating conveniently in narrow corridors! But that's not all. It also discusses solving problems, such as stuck loads or malfunctions of the forklift. In addition, participants are provided with a firm dose of safety measures. Of checking the forklift for use, identifying dangerous situations and following the correct driving procedures. With all this knowledge and skills, participants are able to keep not only themselves, but also their colleagues and the environment safe while working with the forklift. In short, they passed the course with flying colors and are now fully prepared for the challenges that the logistics world has to offer.
