After years, Rikus has made a switch to his new home: Ridder Drive Systems!

Rikus was looking for a new challenge

Since May 2021, Rikus has been working at Ridder Drive Systems in Harderwijk via BergWerk. He was looking for other work, because he was out of place at his previous job. He then started looking online and ended up at BergWerk. After a nice conversation, he went to Ridder for a day's trial. He immediately noticed that the atmosphere within this company was very nice and that the colleagues are very helpful. “I couldn't find something in the first week. Before I pulled someone's sleeve, I was already helped by a colleague. They worked very well in me. There was plenty of room to ask questions and make rookie mistakes.”

My preferences are listened to

“At Ridder I have indicated that I like variety in my work. Some colleagues prefer to have one fixed task, but that is also possible. I currently often work for three days as an assembly employee and two days as a forwarding employee. This gives me plenty of variety.”

He would like to develop further and Ridder also helps him with that. He is on the list to take a reach truck course. He can participate in the next class and Rikus really likes that.

Finally, he indicates that the team consists of several colleagues. From young to old and from man to woman. His supervisor in the assembly department is a woman.

Ridder takes good care of her staff

Rikus indicates that Ridder takes very good care of the staff. On very hot days, everyone is told that they can leave the work for a while. So they can sit down for a while to cool off with a cold glass of drink. If a good turnover has been achieved, they will all be rewarded with tasty sandwiches.

Ridder also makes it clear that they appreciate their employees. Compliments are often paid out.

At Christmas they had a nice drink, with Sinterklaas they received a gift and in the summer there was a BBQ.
