They do all this from Nijkerk.

Corporate social responsibility plays an important role at BFG. They are involved in People, Planet and Profit.

First of all, BFG finds the well-being of employees and customers (People) very important. For example, there is free fruit in the company restaurant, employees can participate in the cycling plan and they can take out a company fitness subscription. In addition, BFG regularly organizes sports events and employees can do a health check once a year for free.

BFG also considers the environment (Planet) very important. They mainly focus on reducing their carbon footprint. They want to waste as little food as possible and save as much energy as possible. For example, they have a sustainably cooled distribution center that is rated with a BREEAM Excellent certification. In addition, there are 960 solar panels on the roof, which yields approximately 250,000 KW per year.

Finally, BFG wants to give something back to society (Profit). They sponsor Casa Filadelfia, KIKA, the Ronald Mc Donald House, the GOAL Foundation and the Kenya Children Foundation.
